LEDVANCE updated its new second generation of Damp Proof Special luminaires to be suitable for even more demanding tasks in industry and agricultural applications. Their fully sealed housing is made of highly resistant PMMA making it impervious to chemical detergents, cleaning liquids and oil. The Damp Proof Special models offer IP67 and IP69K protection and come with a through-wiring cable already installed in the luminaire. The Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG) certified the luminaires’ ammonia resistance confirming that the sealed housing and proper material choice allow usage in farming applications. The Damp Proof Special luminaires come with a five year warranty and are now available for installers.
