High time to switch to LED – imminent ban of fluorescent lamps

LEDVANCE helps to play it safe with EU-compliant LED products In order to fight climate change and dangerous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, mercury-containing and inefficient lamps will be banned throughout the EU this year. There are three dates to keep in mind for various product groups, starting end of February 2023 and the last one being in September 2023. Particularly affected from this ban are flurescent lamps. So, it’s about time to switch to energy-efficient, future-proof LED technology.
